    December

I’d walk that line if it didn’t spin me out

I’d conquer my fears if my mind didn’t have two mouths

I’d carry that weight if you were in my arms

I’d hit the ground if you were going down

I’ll remember the taste in my mouth

It’s hot in December, the middle of a drought

But I feel the rain, and I’m shivering

I miss you when you’re gone and I’m gone when you’re here

Now am I the risk that you are willing to take

I’m the jump the fall am I the wind beneath your wings?

Its been two years since I picked up that drink

But ill be honest, sometimes I still sink

I’ll remember the taste in my mouth

It’s hot in December, the middle of a drought

But I feel the rain, and I’m shivering

I miss you when you’re gone and I’m gone when you’re here

I’m too far away to know what to say

The worst may be over but there’s still a price to pay

I could speak from the heart but my heart doesn’t know your way

So I’ll let time breathe and ill let you speak

I’ll remember the taste in my mouth

It’s hot in December, the middle of a drought

But I feel the rain, and I’m shivering

I miss you when you’re gone and I’m gone when you’re here
